February Flurries

Although we have had a few snow flurries, the main flurry here is activity. David did a great job at his recital (see video below), we have directed kids club at school, and have a high school party coming up this week. We are seeing answers to prayers at school (a family who was denied their visas and were on the verge of being sent home got the problem resolved and will be able to stay!, and another family has just arrived after many months of praying for their support), at church (we continue to have visitors each week and had a nice turnout for a Valentine movie night, showing Fireproof), and at home (continued health and strength to serve and enjoy life, and for God's faithful financial provisions). Our family is down to only 2 teens - Lynnette turns 20 today! We are also enjoying having a new friend stay with us a couple weeks to help in ministries at school and in our community, Carlee. Thank you Lord for many blessings!

Prayer requests: Continue praying for Mar Rojo (A church member has found the proof we need on the internet to show that they are functioning illegally and plans to report that this week!), pray for the many staff positions needed for next year - for us to find teachers and for teachers to find their support, and we have no new updates on our kids' job search status - a few more options, but no new decisions have been made.
